How it all began.....

Hi, I’m Tammy, thanks for stopping by! This is how it all began.....

I have been photographing weddings for over 17 years now. Oh my, that's a LOT of weddings! I shot my first wedding as the lead photographer in 2005 and never looked back. Even after all these years, I still LOVE this work! I fell in love with photography as a young girl, but never thought of being a photographer. I loved scrapbooking as a young mom, so one year for Christmas my husband bought me a nice SLR camera. When my babies were little, I spent countless hours posing them, creating backdrops, practicing lighting techniques, then, as soon as I finished a roll, I'd drive to a nearby town 30 miles away and drop my film off at the one hour lab. I can't tell you how many rolls of film I went through. This was where it began, and now when I look back, I still can't believe this is where my path ended up. Being a photographer has been a dream come true for me. I know that it’s a blessing from God to have this gift. I’m thankful to Him for this incredible journey. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years and we have 3 beautiful children, who are really no longer children, but they are still my babies!  We also just welcomed our first grandchild, so life is a crazy kind of wonderful.

I really do feel blessed that I am to be able to do something I honestly love so much. I truly believe weddings are more than just a happy day for couples. It's a celebration of love and family. I want to capture those connections and freeze them forever in time.

I'll be there to help you with all the things, zippers, shoes buckles, bobby pins, carrying your dress or bouquet, blotting your sweat, I'm here for it, I'm here for YOU .
